Artist Statement:
Artist Statement……
Since I have been attending
college, art has been an
inspiration to me and, when I
know that my art is doing
well, I am filled with a sense
of excitement. When I work
with various paints, I am
reminded that color is the
primary element that I use
throughout intensely in my
work. The colors that I use
for each piece symbolize my
aspirations of how nature
comes in existence. The colors
are earth tone colors of
yellow, orange, brown and
green to produce emotion of
beauty. I begin a piece by
going outside, observing and
taking images of nature’s
appearance such as the leaves.
I depict the warmth, and
playfulness of nature through
different materials, color and
texture. When people see the
work produced, I would like
them to see something about
nature that is magical as it
comes in existence.
