| Biggest Artistic Inspiration |
Love of art was a family preoccupation and interest. From the age of six, I began pencil drawings, then as the years passed I added ink, arts and crafts, jewelry making, refurbishing furniture, watercolor, to wood and acrylics. Art became more than a hobby while teaching AP European History. that my biggest inspiration came. The exposure to the major art periods of Europe was my greatest inspiration. All I have learned over the years culminated into my process. I use (3D multi-medium) hand-built frames/panels, acrylics, paper, leather, permanent ink, and sealant. |

| Why Did You Become An Artist |
I was born an artist. |

| Your Personal Biography |
My experience is primarily in education as the following will reveal. I have always loved to draw, paint and create jewelry; nevertheless my exposure remained limited to requests from friends, acquaintances and personal use. As I began teaching a new subject last year, A.P. European History, this experience seemed to create the passion I have today to create more serious art. The course requires studying of all the major art period and artists in European History dating from 1350 to present. I was hooked!
I have donated art to the following organizations:
The Monologue Diaries
To Make a Point
North Texas Food Bank
I've recently joined the Plano Art Association to expose myself to other artists and become more involved in this world. I plan to sell my art online in the near future.
