Why Did You Become An Artist

Your Personal Biography I've been a pharmacist for many years with a passion for creating good health through prevention and a love of nature.
That passion for nature spilled over the moment I started working with clay. I feel the connection between a potter and the earth is very strong.
i began working with clay in Miami,Fl in the 70's and studied with several artists and attended workshops with such well known artists as Rudy Autio, Betty Woodward and Ken Ferguson. Drawing classes with Louise Cherwak enabled me to become more skilled in sketching my ideas. When I began studying in 2002 with Korean Master Potter Ki Woon Huh in Sarasota,Fl, he encouraged by creative passion and gently guided me to a higher level of skill. The piece that I am handbuilding is smoothed to become my canvas for decoration and texture.
