My great grandfather emigrated from Germany, settled in Brooklyn, NY and was employed as an architect on the design of the Chas Schwab mansion on Riverside Drive, NYC. My grandfather was an illustrator for a dept store in Manhattan.
My father, a photoengraver, before the printing process changed over to the more technological form of lithography. Painting is
my passion in life.
I attempt to create serene, contemplative landscapes where one can be alone in a natural, beautiful setting.
