| Welcome to Betty Sammis-Thomas's Portfolio. Browse Sammis-Thomas's body of work: Though I worked exclusively in oil for 25 years, my works now include watercolor, acrylic and mixed media collage. Switching from media to media freshens my perception and defines the finish of each work. I attended Otis Parsons Art Institute, and have studied with well known artists in all media. Although I learned the basics of drawing, perspective, color, etc., I always have been an impressionist and experimenter.
